this might sound stupid but i have an 81-82 atc200 that i just bought and i know nothing about it, it did not run when i got it but i now have it runnin sweet my problem is it did'nt come with any of the shifters, on the side that the pull starter is on there seems to be two spots for two shifters or maybe ones the shifter and ones the kick starter i don.t know, so if anyone has any pics of this setup or knows which is which i would be greatly abliged. thanks, john

One 'post' is for the shifter and the other points to what gear your in( I'm assuming the pointer is missing )
The 'post' farthest back and sticking out the farthest from the engine I would assume is the shifter, it should also be bigger in diameter.
I haven't seen a regular 200 for a while but think the info is correct.
Shifters are available from www.denniskirk.com for $18.95 part number 59-627
Hope this helps

Hey John
Its been since the early 80s when I had a wheeler with a centrifical clutch so I'm afraid I can't help ya there.
Your best bet is to post a NEW topic with a subject with centrifical clutch in the title, there are lots of smart people that view this forum, 'KNOWSALOT' and 'THRASH AND CRASH TIL ITS TRASH' will probably will probably give you some good advice sooner or later.
