Prior to Labor Day it was not uncommon in the Twin cities to see 500s for $5495 in the Star Tribune and also the Pioneer Press.

I looked today and there was not one single AC 500 listed at special pricing for any of the dealers that normally run the discount ads.

Is the 500 catching on, or has AC curtailed production during the fall here for snowmobile production? Either way it looks like a 500 will cost more today than it did 40 days ago.

It's also right before hunting season. Prices raise juring this time of year for quads.

 

If cat gets stupid with their pricing I'll seriously look at switching, when I trade up. I like the fit and finish of Bombadiers traxter. I'll give them credit, bombadier done one heck of a job for their first attempt at atv's. Thier attention to detail is on par with the Japs and better than my cat's. But if cat's pricing remains competative I'll always have a cat.

 

Everybody is out of 500's. What is up with that? Do they batch production and produce them all at one time?

AC must be prodcing 800 CC snowmobiles (which are hotter than blazes right now. )
