Default Oil pressure sensor location

Alright I'm looking to install a couple of gauges an oil pressure and for the time being an oil temperature gauge. For the temperature gauge location I was thinking of just inserting the sensor in the place of the magnetic oil plug in the tank. My main question is can I tee into the return oil line and use that for an oil pressure reading.? Any input would be much appreciated.
