I ordered another set of Elka shocks for my new 03 DS. Well I ordered them on monday and they told me I would see them in 2 to 3 weeks. I get a call from them today saying they are shipping out tomorrow and I will have them on monday. He just wanted to confirm my order to make sure all my info was correct on the building specs. All I can say is "wow", that is a company that has earned all my future business for sure.

I asked about the sand dune edition shocks and they told me that if you ride 90% to 100% dunes then they are the best. But like me, I told them I ride 50% trails and 50% dune. So it setup my shocks for that. If you explain what kind of riding you do they will set you up with the right shocks for sure.

I have the DE's on my EX. I realize some of you have had a really good experience with Elka. My experience with them from 1-10 was about 5. If there is a problem, they like to think there is not. I had a rebound problem, and before I realized it, it caused about $600 in damage to my quad's airbox and exhaust. Then I got to argue with them on the telephone for 20 minutes explaining that I actually know what good rebound is supposed to feel like. All in all, I'd probably buy from them again - just be ready to make your point if you have a problem.
