Default Researching '05 Scrambler 500

Hey guys. Once again I am looking for some opinions (yeah or neh) on upgrading my quad. I currently own a TB250. I like it, however, I think I am beginning to outgrow it. I wanted a smaller machine for my first one, but now that I have the hang of it, I want something with more power. I am 5'3" and 118 pounds. I am not looking to upgrade until the end of the year, I just figured I would get some opinions in order to keep my eye out for a good deal. Thanks.

I can understand the need to have more power. The 500 Scrambler is a solid choice. Keep an eye out for an used Trailblazer 400,Scrambler 500 2x4,or Scrambler 400 2x4. Very similar power in stock form, but lighter and easier to handle. It could make life easier for a person of your size. I'm sure you can handle the 500 4x4, but it is heavier and wears you down faster with the 4x4.

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

DITTO on what fishslab said. But have you tossed the idea of a pipe, clutch kit and a port job for the TB.My sons TB run great like that and wheelies at the bump of the throttle. Just a option you know. Brad
