Default breather hose

I finally got my k&n powerlid today, after looking at it I quickly realized that there is no inlet for the c-case breather hose, thumbs down to K&N for not including a breather filter in the kit. I was wondering what you guys have done with this line so its not flopping around like a wet noodle? I was thinking that maybe I might extend the line and plumb it into my airbox is this a good idea?
