12 tooth sprocket upgrade
#1
i recently made the mistake by installing a 15 tooth front sprocket on a raptor 660. it was ok until i rode some hills in the woods and kept killing the motor. i now have a 12 tooth sprocket on my machine. the twelve tooth is perfect. it has plenty of torque and keeps the motor in the power band. i havent tried it yet on the drag strip but i believe i will like it. does anyone hear popping sounds from their motor when their in 5th gear wound out and let off of it or down shift. is this normal. i also don't have a baffle in my pipe
raptor 660 few mods

You leaned the bike out a little too much when you removed the baffle, you need to tweak your fuel screws and you'll probably be ok.
The 12 tooth is great for most internally stock bikes, faster off the line and better accelleration with minor top end losses.
