The NEW RON WOODS DRAG PIPE turned some heads at Red River!!!
#1
We did the first test ride on the Ron Woods drag pipe yesterday on the river and that thing was very impressive. That pipe really woke my buddies DS up it was beating every bike there exept a duncan built 7mill banshee. There were a number of fast YFZ's there that didn't stand a chance along with serval other banshee's. The BOM did a hell of a job designing this pipe. Thanks Jeff we are glad we ran into you at the drags in Gilbert, La.

That sounds very good. I was waiting to hear of a proven report on the new inframe dragpipe. What else did the DS have done to it? It sounds impressive.

It only has a 12/1 piston, a 42mm mikuni and is running on alki with a plus 4 ace swing arm. Cams will be soon to follow. His hubs are machined so he can run smaller rims.

I heard it ran real good. Im excited as I have the drag pipe also but havent run it yet. My DS has some serious wiring problems. I cant get it to stop running off just battery. New rectifier and battery. Checked the stator and all grounds and still no luck. I even replaced the wiring harness and its still got a short somewhere. Im going to try to ride somewhere next sunday if I get her fixed. The pipe fits really well but man that things loud. Also just a little food for thought. Theres a new inframe drag pipe coming out soon that should be really nice also from a major builder.

Meaner, I dont know what to tell you on the electrical problem. It sounds like you have just about covered all the basis. Im really interested to see and hear the new dragpipe run. Its going to be loud in Sicily Island this weekend....
