Most everyone that has purchased one gives plenty of props with the only downside being having to fab up some sort of skid plate mounting brackets (for the trail riders). IMO, $275 + shipping is steep for 2 pieces of aluminum that probably cost the manufacturer $50 max including machining. I wound up purchasing a powdercoated, Tucker +4 ready to bolt on, with chain for around $600. Keep in mind this has been a few years back and I am sure the price is higher. It incorporates a Honda style chain adjustment so the wheels are always in perfect alignment + takes easily less than a minute to adjust. It's definately one of the best overall mods I have made to my Rap. Keep us updated bro. A belated welcome to the forums .

This place is a half-hour from where I live. I should drop in and have a look-see.

When you get there, tell them to get some decent pictures of the installed product on their website! I already know what a stretched Rappy looks like! I don't mean to be superficial, but if the thing is super ugly, i'll pay for a real swingarm... maybe I just answed myself on why there isn't a good installed pic.

Gary-- 4 years later is WAAAY past belated! Thanks...

I thought there should be more pics also.

The neat thing with this design is that you can return to the stock set up at any time (and transfer it to another Quad later) without having to keep two swing arms.

A new approach to the same modification.

Ya, that thought crossed my mind as well. 4 1/2 inches is a lot, (just ask my wife) and i might not want that much all of the time. If I were to buy a swingarm, I'd probably only get 2 or 3 inches anyway.

I have had one for two years with no complaints at all. I recently with with a +6 arm. T-dub racing has some VERY good deals on building whatever swingarm you want. I think they were around $270 bare (no powdercoat or chrome). He has them on ebay sometimes.

thats sucks..camshaft, that your raptor wont get the front end end up in any other gear than 1st n 2nd. like i said i have a +4, and still have no problem getting my front end up in any gear but 5th.
