If you only have the shocks, I'm sorry to tell you that you will need several other parts. 400ex shocks are a quite a bit longe than stock 300ex shocks, to fit, you will need 400ex a arms, tie rods, and a kit to remount the top shock mounts higher to fit the longer shocks, I have seen some just get the a arms, and mount to the stock 300ex top mounts, but it cuts down on the travel, and looks goofy, too. I did it the right way on my son's 300ex, and the ride is night and day different, feels like double the old travel, the wider stance makes it handle better, I also put wheel spacers in the back to match up to the front, and a 2001 Raptor shock on the rear for better control on the big jumps and whoops. You can find mounting kits on ebay, or if you are handy with a welder, cut the old mounts off and mount them higher, just have to get the placement right to keep the front end geometry correct. It is definately worth the effort in ride quality and handling.

no i bought a bracket that you use with or without the 400ex A-arms it mounts right on and you can run it with no cuts or welds or anything like that iv seen it on one but iv never bought one until now its like 90 bucks and iv bought the 400ex shocks also

Sounds like you might have the same kit I do for shock mounting, with +2 a arms, you will definately need longer tie rods, and maybe 400ex brake lines, my stock 300ex brake lines worked fine, but for +2, you will probably need longer lines up front for all that extra travel and length. You will be very happy with the ride and handling with your set up. Now you will either need wheel spacers or a new wider axle for the rear to match up the front !!!
