How do you like the 3 quart oil resevoir? Does it seem to make the motor run any cooler on real hot days / hard runs?

The Oil Rez Does make it run a tad bit cooler...
On a scale of 1-10 (10 being hottest), saying the stock motor with stock oil rez would be about 7, while the pingry about 6.

my suggestion, if you have a 440 kit or something, then yeah go for it..

the only reason that i got it was because the stock one was only 100 bucks cheaper, and i knew that i would break it again..

i will very soon post pics of the rez, it looks nice, definatly stronger, and is noticably larger.

If you don't have a 440 kit: unless you break your stock one, stick with it.

When you break your stock one: do not replace it with the same one UNLESS it is totally covered by warranty (mine wasn't)

If you have a 440 kit: GO FOR IT

Just curious, but how did you break your stock oil tank? The tech at the dealership told me that they had problems with the bottom breaking out when removing the oil drain, but that they had made the bottom of the tanks stronger?
