are they hard to start if you rejet them

Only if you dont know how to jet and screw it up.

What jets are you running. I have the HRC kit, K&N air filter and Rossier complete exhaust and I am running a #50 pilot and a 181 jet. I am in Oklahoma where I believe we are around 600-1000 feet above sea level. The jetting works really great for me. If you have bigger jets or not as many other motor mods and bigger jets you are way fat and drounding the motor.
