RAPTOR rear breaks?
#1
my raptor is almost brand new(2 weeks). when the quad is moving and i am NOT touching the break lever, the rear breaks are very slightly grinding, but enough to hear. its not a rough grind by any means. i sprayed it down with break cleaner and it still didnt stop. is this normal, does it take a while for the breaks to get broken in?

the old e-brake drag
it will get better as your pads wear in/out
the e-brakes are notorious for wearing out pads and needing constant adjustment to remain working
best bet is to remove the e-brake system
honestly,,,they are garbage

to adjust:
on the left side of the rear caliper there is a bolt sticking out with a locknut
loosen the nut,,,,and move the bolt in or out as needed
if you keep it in adjustment....you may as well order some brake pads now,,,so you have em on hand

you could have bend your rotor on a raock or something, is it a constant grinding our a small repitition of grinding sounds

I had the same problem and found if you adjusted the cable and it is still doing it back that bolt off that goes into the brake caliper not to much and then tighten the locknut, the caliper is fairly sensative to over tightening.
