I've heard through the grapvine that other manufacturers (besides Interco) are planning to release 28" mud tires sometime this spring. Has anyone else heard this? I've also heard of a tire dubbed the "Vampire Killer"! I don't have much info to go on, but wondered if through this vast network of people if anyone else has heard anything.

I can't wait until the big runs... So I can see the 28's, and see how many people are/aren't breaking parts. I hope this tire doesn't eat drive line componets, but I guess we'll find out.

I will get with the parts man at the Honda dealer next week and see what he can find out. do you think these bigger tires are making our machines loose torque?
if these tires keep getting any bigger I can put them on my John Deere tractor!!

 

Well with the gearing we have now we are losing torque, but the guys at High Lifter are supposed to be working on a ring and pinion set for quads that will allow us to turn 27"+ tires with no problems! See what you can find out about the tires though. I'm curious!

Well I was right after all! High Lifter is entering the highly competetive world of mud tires. In case you haven't heard, they are planning to release a couple of 28" tires by summer. They will be called "Outlaws"

Anyone heard of any others? ITP? Maxxis? Sand Tires Unlimited?
