cant find the little squeek on my raptor

Default cant find the little squeek on my raptor

there is a little squeek every time i sit down or my rear suspension moves at all. i greased averything, very frustrating. any thoughts on where its coming from?

could it be the bushings in the shock eyes. mine does the smae thing but you dont here it while you ride the engine drones it out so i never worried about it

I usually pressure wash the crap out of my suspension to avoid squeeking.

on my 250ex i sprayed like a whole can of wd40 on the back of mine and it has squeeked in months

Common problem, undo the upper rear shock bolt and remove, move shock out of locator on frame and grease or anti sieze the ball joint inside the shock itself were the bolt goes through. Make sure the ball can swivel freely then reinstall, should be ok now!!

I HAVE NO 660 BUT I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM SO I GOT SICK OF IT TOOK OUT THE SWING ARM BOLT LUBED EVERY THING UP GRESSED ALL LIL ZERKS STILL freaking squeaked finally figured out it was the back shock were it mounts on top so try spraying WD-40 were your rear shock mountS on top I bet cha its it let me know.

...this is smart. pressure washing your suspension forces water into the tight sealed area, causing more squeak after it drys out and rust. But if you don;t care about that...keep them joints full a water then [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] peace
