its possible, but i doubt it. the new raptor is only about 30cc's bigger, and the TLD preditor owned the raptor 660. so... we can only guess at the moment.

I think your more likely to see a 450 predator than you are a 600. I would rather see polaris battle in the racing quad wars than trying to compete with the underacheiving raptor. Im just hoping this is the case. I getting kind of sick of the add more cc's to the quad trend and rather see them concentrate on making better lighter quads. pretty soon were going to have v8's in our quads and way 1000lbs

we already have quads that weigh 1000 pounds, take a look at the MV

anyway, what i see happening is polaris has a new 450 to slap yamaha around, and they take take the 500 and make it a 550, and EFI it.

Now I could go for those options. I think it would bring alot more sales to polaris. That way you could have the 450 geared for racing and the 550 for trail riding utilizing the extra torque. As long as they keep the fox suspensions.

that was a good call putting the fox shocks on, i bet they'll be stock for the 06's with a moderate price increase.

I would also like to see a 450 Pred. We will just have to keep our fingers crossed.

I dont know if the predator "owned" the raptor, i would consistantly beat them in sand drags before my motorwork. Plus we all know how much each quad weighs... a lot, the raptor has a bigger engine and still weighs less than the pred. I recall dirtwheels comparing the 2005 pred and raptor, and having the raptor consistantly beat the pred, and have faster times through 2nd to 5th (if i recall correctly) I ended up trading my raptor for a yfz 450 :-)
