Default we got stuck

The other day me and my cousin were on our quads and we went down into this creek with really steep sides, like 5ft straight up and we couldnt figure out how to get out. After a while of trying to get out his raptor 350 got really hot, like hot enough to make the reverse-lever sticky. It started to get really late and we were far from home so we did not have time to let it cool off.

can it hurt the bike from overheating? my mojave got really hot too and its water cooled

Good gosh it got hot enough to melt the reverse handle . Y did yall not let it cool down a it b 4 it got so hot. I know them raptor 350's they will climb anything you throw at them. I don't think it hurt anything but i would not recomment doin it again.

yeah change your oil when oil is exposed to extreme heat like that it looses its visousity ( thats not how you spell it) but it makes the quality of the oil decrease do that. make your you didnt melt any bearings close to the engine. ( i doubt it but check anyways)
