I have a 1999 Sportsman 500 with the front double tube bumper. I have the mouning plate, and I'm not quite sure it is going to line up right. The instructions with the mounting plate show to mount the plate on the front of the winch. The problem is the hole through which the cable is supposed to go does not line up with the hole in the roller fairlead mount that is on the front of the double tube bumper. Can someone explain to me why the two holes wouldn't be inline instead of being offset. I know I am doing it right, and the picture of the mounting plate and the bumper are correct to how I am doing it, they just don't line up, dang it!

 

It's all good now that I have it mounted up. Feeds through like butta.

 

Welcome to the fourms. Thats a nice website and I see you ride Tellico. Let Me know when you come back I would like to see you guys in action. I live in Tellico Plains and ride there often.

 

We will actually be back there the last weekend in July. We should have at least 5 or 6 rigs there, and maybe more if our buddies from Michigan and Pennsylavania come down. Let me know if you can go, and I'll let you know where we'll be. BTW, that is a really sweet Sportsman.
