Every manufacturer has their 2006 linup out on their web page EXCEPT Polaris, what's up with that ? Saving the best for last ? Do they do this every year ?

July 21 is the dealer show in Nashville. As we get near to that date, perhaps there will be some leaks of "lots of new product" they are promising.
I would like to see a stronger mid-size 4x4 to replace the 330 magnum and 400 SP. I expect the 600 SP to go away. A lighter 450 predator that can compete with the YFZ,,,,,maybe a new Scrambler.....
The Victorys stole the show last year.....

 

Word I heard from reliable source is that Polaris will release at least two new bikes for 2006. Both having 4 digit sized motors and both EFI. Guess we'll see in the next 30-40 days or so.

 

Doubt they'll have any 4 digit sized motors, in some states that would make the ORV's. Isn't this supposed to be the last year they have 2 stokes? How about upping the Trail Blazer to a 450 2 stroke. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

The smartest thing Polaris can do from a sells stand point is to have a 500EFI for 06. They wouldn't be able to make them fast enough!

 

and keep the prices down!

 

They need to do the following:

1) 500 Sportsman EFI
2) Build something the same size as the Rhino to compete with it. ( Not the Ranger either, it is too big )
The Rhinos have a poor 4x4 system & they will not go anywhere in 2wd when it is slick out.
The Polaris 4x4 system would probably eliminate this.

3) Get rid of all of the 2 stokes, Everyone in the country feels they need to be eliminated except 2 stroke lovers.
4) Get rid of the Magnum series atvs.
5) Reduce the cost of repair parts.
6) Maybe test a Sportsman with a transmission like the Rincon. ( just to see how it would do ). I think the belt is fine though.

Other tan that I feel there ATVs are superior to others.

 

I like those ideas. I'm in shock no body has any information at all. Usually there are hints, rumors, something! Oh well July 21st will be here before you know it!
