Things that I like to see even though they are probably impossible:

1. An EBS (4 wheel of course) that you could turn on/off. I like the current system but it be nice to be able to turn it off on the wide oped fire roads.

2. A 4wd system thats like polaris' current 20% wheel slippage but also have a third setting that engages all 4 wheels right then on the fly. I also like the current system but its a little tiresome waiting for it to engage when on rocks.

 

I like the idea of a real on-demand awd, but it would require a whole new awd system, as would the 4 wheel ebs. I for one am completely happy with polaris's current awd system after weighing the pros and cons.

 

I was told by my dealer that the 600 SP is gone no longer available in 2006

 

My dealer has said no more sp600, sp500efi, and all sportsman models will come with the sp800 style primary clutch. Thats what i get for getting impatient! should have waited... oh well, more hop ups to come I guess!

 

Polaris said that the website will be updated on the week of July 25.

However I thought they already had there dealer meeting, so there should be some people here that work for Polaris that have some information. Does anyone have a user and password to this site?

The dealer meeting isn't until the end of July.

 

Id say the 25th of july would be considered "the end", the meeting may be a few days before and id still consider that the end of july...

1. its for sure the 600 is discontinued
2. Preditor Outlaw (450cc sport) (preditor becomes a line)
3. scrambler updates
4. 800 clutch on sportsmans
5. newer, smaller, sportsman 400
6. 500 EFI uncertain
