I couldnt talk myself out of it but I had to have one. I put a deposit on a new white Raptor 700 today. I have my zilla in dads building and now I may sell it or part it out. It seems like I have lost interest in the 2 strokes. I hate to get rid of the zilla because its a nice one or going to be. I need to make room for the new addition coming.

 

Let's see...I was in this position in 2000...model year change, cool quad, dealer asks whatever they think the market will bear for this "I gotta have it" model....no offense or anything, but I hope you bring a tube of KY with you when you pay the bill on this one. It's a mistake I'll never make again. Wait 6 mos or so, and the price will come WAY down.

 

I thought of that before I put the money down. They said that they didnt do prices that way. I bought a 2001 yz 426 off of them the same way and they did me right. I expect everone will pay retail on these things for a while.

don't get rid of your zilla.. you'll regret it. It's paid for.. hang on to it! It'll be a collectors item one day!

 

I will bet it will be retail. I will do my best to get it cheaper. Even before the 700 came out most dealers wouldnt buge much on any ATV around here.
