we are planning to go to sand lake within 2 weeks and i was out riding the bear tracker and started thinking there is no way these tires are going anywhere in the sand. i have narrowed my choice's down to the maxxis SUR TRAC the KENDA BEAR klaw and the GBC dirt devils, these will be going on a beartracker (250 fourstroke utility) so i dont think they can be very heavy. these tires need to be a good all around tire. and need to do pretty good in the sand. i like the sur trac because of its big middle bar would act like a paddle but its only 2 ply. i am open to all suggestions but i think these are the ones i will pick from'

I would choose the Sur-Trak because it's the most paddle like of all three. I have no experience with any of these tires though. Bearclaws look like a good all-around tire.

 

But either way your going to have to get some speed to get up some of those hills. And always park downhill [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

i am still looking for suggestions though. i have till the morning to decide. mum says i just need to figure it out and buy them. and then im buying some sand sharks for the warrior
