Default Polaris scrambler 500

Hey i am looking to buy a 1999 polaris scrambler because i heard go with the two stroke and not the four because of power so what are some things i should look for. And what do all you people think about the scramblers like the postitive and negative things about it i have never owned but a 1991 suzuki quadrunner 4x4 250 so thanks for the info

If possible get the concentric drive models.

Default Polaris scrambler 500

The 400 and 500 scrambler both have their places. In stock form, they are about equal. The 500 has great low end torque if you are into the slower more technical trails. But, if you ride more wide open faster trails then the 400 scram may better suit you because it will be faster with mods. However, that 500 HO motor is pretty much bullit proof.
