Trailblazer head machining?

you usually get help from ritter he'll tell you what you need to know because if you go to far you'll end up raising the compression too high and you'll have to use race fuel if theres too high of a compression rittercycle.com

Well from being a automotive mechanic for 4 years and spending a year working in a speed shop i know that when you mill your heads the compression does rise. And on a 2 stroke it brings the squish clearances closer. So he would be better off talking to the professionals at ritter cycle.

I was told 45 to 60 thousands by a guy that pretty much specializes in trailblazer performance. He wasnt really sure though. I have a pipe, clutch kit, ported, and just about have a predator carb on it just have to hook up the throttle cable. I'll probably ask ritter. Thanks.

.020 is a good safe number to take and help with power output. If more is needed then the head really needs to be totally rechambered with the squish band adjusted. Bubba

You say this guy specializes in trailblazer performance but he was not sure on the 45-60 thousandths. Does not sound like much of an expert. Most dont go over .020-.030 thousandths or you risk damage.
