Pigpen7684,

You really need to get rid of that crappy DG exhaust. You are killing the power of the 250 with it. Anyone here can tell you that DG is junk on a 2 stroke Polaris. Get a different pipe and some clutch tuning and it will be a whole new bike.

Ya thats why i asked people with experience on here because you never know what kind of bulllsh** people tell you out there. By the way, .020 is bigger then .0045 so it wouldnt have been enough.

Gentlemen ,

I may be an expert , or maybe I am not . You decide .

Please understand that I can not give out my machining specifications . I have spent a lot of time and $$$$ figuring out what I can do to different engines .

I have a family to support , just like every one here . I will do my work at a fair charge - but please ~~ for my families sake ~~ don't ask for my machining specifications .

Rick, I need the coil/point gap settings for the new electronic flux capacitor. Do I need to machine off .010 or .100? I cant remember. LOL

TBlazer, if there is any doubt then send it to Rick. He will ALWAYS do you right.

Bubba ,

Surely you know better . The new flux capacitors are designed with a antidefragistation core , rarely do you need to even worry about the coloidal prephase gill setting .

I have however had good success by negatively charging the ion core and lightly tapping them with a ball peen hammer prior to installation . If the quad seems to run a bit rich off of idle pry the deflector away from the casing about .00006 " and it should work fine . :-)
