is it just me of does the R suck on gas i take a short ride and it uses a noticiable amount of gas

 

All 2-strokes are gas guzzlers.

 

What, do you expect all that power for free? A Yugo gets better gas mileage than an LS6 corvette too....

Towed my buddy's R home with an empty tank, more than once!

 

My 250r would last about 45 minutes per tankful if I was riding it hard.

 

I actually don't mind it, it is worse of course then my Raptor, although I can ride hard for about 4/5 hours straight without worrying.
