I run pro-wedge 2's myself. On 8" .125s They are very light. and hook good.
I was running Holeshot XCTs or XRT... whatever, they're lead baloons. You could also try, 4-snows or zippers
Welcome aboard!

22"Holeshot xct on 190 weighs 26 lbs.... 22"prowedge 2 on 125 weighs 15 lbs.. do the math - thats 22lbs difference of rotating mass.
We're talking dirt drag racing here- no jumps in a 300ft dirt drag. Sure the 125s are brittle as hell, but this thread is about "dirt drag racing tires"

The 4-snow's or pro wedge2's on 125 rims are the way to go....
For a dirt trak I run 4-snow's on 125 rims on my Banshee...
On sand I run 13 paddle haulers on 125 rims......

Most people around here who drag run 4-Snows on .125s or .160s

The only thing about the 4-snows is that you cant run real low pressure. We run them also but about 2psi is as low as we go. They seem to fold the lips back if you go lower than that. The pro wedge tires seem to do ok to around 1.5psi. I run 4.5's on 4-snows so they work good enough for me.

I would definitely go with either 4-snows or pro-wedge 2.Holeshots are not good for dirt drags if you're serious about winning.I use 4-snows.
