Default Sell modded YFZ450 for Raptor700?

Hey everyone i have gotten myself to where i dont know what to do.. I can either keep my YFZ that has all the stuff done to it listed below or i can go and get a new 700Raptor! How much difference will there be between a YFZ and the 700Raptor as far as acceleration and top speed and well just over all power? Any help will be greatly apriciated.

THNKS JAMIE

Nobody knows yet. Wait until the dealers actually have them before trying to make comparisons.

I know you all cant give me anymore then an opion.. But that is better then nothing. Just based on what you have read what would you think? Because thats what i am doing is basically just guessing about what i want. Because my YFZ is very quick and i really like it but i think the raptor will be a good bike too and i am wanting reverse and i like the way the raptors look i just want to know if it will stand up to my YFZ.

It will in fact stand up to the YFZ....

however when it does the YFZ will knock it back down to its beyaaatch status

It's true, the 700 isn't out yet, but I think you could make an educated guess about how it will run. I'm just seeing a Raptor 660 with more pep and much better stability, possibly better fuel economy if that matters. It will come down to the terrain you ride and how you like to ride it.

Well acceleration wise, I still think the YFZ will spank it. I know the YFZ still revs higher than the lower revving Raptor, but probaly the Raptor will be faster. For sure the YFZ will handle better IMO. But again, nobody really knows how it performs, it's just rumors flying around

thnks everyone for the replies to far.. The riding i will mainly be doing is fast trail riding, sometimes big open gravel roads, and some drag racing.. I will be putting a pipe on it along with a K&N airfilter as soon as they get some full system pipes out for it..

ID keep the YFZ that you have for another season, I figure that yamaha will have a big flop with the fuel injection computer, probabily a massive recall about 3-6 months into production. Id wait till the second generation/year of 700R production, remember the 01 rappy?? tons of problems. just my opinion
