hey yfz450kid for your info there wont be a big flop because of the YFI system failing... the demo that our store has right now has been running strong since th12th of june and no issues have came up but good stuff... as well they have been testing this quad for over 2 years and made sure before they put it on the market there wouldnt be those issues you can't base something off what a old model did back then... personally i think a lot of the people that are hating on it is just jealous and bias on it i think its goign to be a great quad but time will tell if these demos are doing really what they are saying... i had a yfz and honestly i thought it was one of the most stiffest quads to ride not very fogiven but yes it is hella fast... 700r will be great competition on hill climbs and drags...

 

Vinny this demo quad your talking about is there anyway that you would be able to post the video of it on here so we could all see it? if you could it would be greatly apreciated!

Ummm.... Compression and preload adjustment... It worked for me.

 

I didnt mean to sound like I had a bias, I havent done much studying on the 700R due to the fact Im too busy with my own stuff... No biggie tho... it should be fun, and if it can whoop me then I guess its good enough...

 

na man its cool and for if i came off wrong i apologize as long yamaha is on top that is all that matters better technology means better quads... :-)

Did the 700R you saw and sat on seem as small and compact as the YFZ?

Have you seen the white and silver in person, how did it look?

 

I own a 700 and if you want a awsome trick bike its the one to have. But not to mention you don't have to rebuild it as much. But i have been on a 450 and it is very good for racing. but not good for playing.
