Assistance Required - Clutch Cover
#1
A couple of months ago I replaced my clutch springs, went to the 40% stiffer. I now need to replace my clutches. I removed the 13 screws off the cover, the 2 off the water pump and 2 off the starter. That's 17 cap head screws in total. Now I can't get the clutch cover to budge.
Anyone have an idea how I can pull the cover off?

It might just be stuck on the gasket. Did you take the shifter lever and foot peg bolt out? Make sure the clutch actuator is free and not bound up. Mine was stuck on the gasket and took a little persuasion.

The left footpeg and shifter are both off too. I'm assuming it's stuck on the gasket. I just don't know how much pressure to apply. I'm dealing with aluminum here so I don't want to pry or hammer on it. I'll order a new gasket so I have it when I'm ready to put the cover back on.
