Default Yamaha Grizzly Electrical Nightmare

I have a Grizzly 600 and have had a load of ignition trouble with it.I replaced a ignition coil and stator and pickup coil and finally got it running but after just a few hours of riding I am dead in the dirt again with no fire .
Has anyone else had problems with Yamaha ignition systems and if so any ideas besides trading it in?

What year is it?
Sounds like you have a shorted wire, which is leading to the components burning out. Disconnect the connectors, to the stator, and the cdi, and check those wires, to ground. My guess, is youll find one or more of them, with continuity to ground. Then find where the short is and fix it. Usually its a pinched wire, or a wire with the insulation rubbed bare in a spot.

Get it running and trade it in.
