Will the stock 450r shocks fit on a 2001 400ex? If so, where can i buy them online? Any sources would be great. Thanks

 

Oh and one more question. Will the rear shocks need to be changed also if i put 450r shocks in the front?

 

i dont think you have to change the rear shock

ther is no need to change the rear, but if your looking for a cheap way to get a better pefrormance from your rear ,just get it revalved and a new spring or springs put on. it all depends on your wieght and riding conditions. we put plus 2" wicked products a-arms on my wifes 400ex with just the stock shocks and it rides almost as nice as my 450. plus its wider and more stable. kill to birds-one stone.

there are many localized dealers but the guy selling them on ebay has them for the best price.that is if your talking about the a-arms . if your talking about the shocks then i would try your local dealer or at the next race and see if anybody has any take offs for sale to help them pay for their new upgrades,like works,elka,fox.....
