My Tranny just locked up!
#1
rode all day today ran great smoked everyone... went to get it off the trailer and put it in the shop and when i went to start my raptor the bottom end was vibrating BAD. and come to find out that the tranny would not go into gear. well i pulled the dipstick and you can see little small shavings of metal in the over filled oil container. well i though i might have over filled it and come to find out the floats stuck in the carb letting gas in my bottom end ( you could smell gas in the oil) pumping all the oil out of the bottom end filling it up with gas. now i dont know what to so or who to take it to and how much is all this gonna cost me. also you think it screwed up my all new LA design one way bearing? can i take my whole bike to craycraft or should i take the motor out??? i dont know what to do i would appreciate alot of help. i go to college at Durant OK, i know that its not too far from aledo TX. Bob if u can help me please let me know.

that sounds expensive, i would just go with a all new trannie because you dont know what could of happened to the tollarances in all of the gears. with out looking at your tranny i would say that your bearing might be ok but i would take it to a motorcycle or bearing shop and see what they say. also i would say to get a set of edilbrock (i know i can't spell). they are side sliders and work great.

The only way I could see gas getting dumped into your bottom end is bye you having the dipstick(or plug) out and the gas running out of the over flow tube into your bottom end. Other than that there should be no way gas can get in there(inless you are having head problems).
