Does any body know if I install an after market performance kit will that increase top end speed??

I have a Honda Rubicon 2004.....Runs great and love it to death.......But I wish I could increase the speed. I know in that case I should get a sports quad but I need 4 wheel drive too and can't afford 2 atv's. Anyways this 4-wheeler can do about 54 mph but I would like to get more.
If I bought an after market kit like a new air filter, exhaust, and rejet it, could I get top end speed at least 5-10mph more.?????
Thanks

Are you hitting the rev limiter at that speed? If you are then its a gearing problem not a Horsepower one. Thats hard and expensive to fix. Thats a problem with most utilities they are geared to wind out at about that speed.
Buy taller tires. Get an over rev CDI or regear. My rancher is like that. it winds out at 50 something. It could pull more gears but there aren't any. it's okay though because where i ride you can't go fast unless you want to drive off a half mile cliff.

You have a utility quad. Don't expect much top end from it, because it isn't made for it.
The mods will help, but more for low end than top end speed.
