We went last weekend...Kinda sucked and heres why...Crowded, windy, cloudy, Dunes were tore up, crowded. Did I mention crowded. The place also wreaks havok on the bikes as well. The air must be extra salty up there. Im goona be tearing down the bike soon to powdercoat the frame and add some HPR goodies so no more riding till October.

I will be there but I won't have my DS. I will have my rail and hopefully jetskis. I am getting there friday and staying through sunday. If I did not bring the jetskis is there somewhere to rent them?

DS jobber, where you there over the 4th? I wouldn't go anywhere near that place on a holiday, just too small. Not going to make it out to DS days?

Cracker, I have never seen any jet ski rentals up there. Tons of atv rentals, I have only seen a few jetski at pismo, a lot of those kite surfers though. You don't really see that many sand rails there, probably because the dunes are so small.

4SW at pismo? that would be a waste of time, there are know hills to climb! There is a flat area, but the length is not that great.

I was there that weekend too, I showed up wed and watched it fill up. It was the windiest it has ever been for me and Ive been going since '83. I have seen it more crowded, but there wern't so many people who have absolutley no respect for those around them. I for one wish they would at least get a grip on the unmuffled or under muffled thumpers. It used to be uncapped banshees, now its 660 raptors.

Im hoping it wasnt you. This guy was such a talented rider he rarely got more than 300' from camp and did most of his riding from 1:00-2:30 am. Not the kind of guy I would invite to a camping trip.

I just dont understand the need or want for a 105+ decible exhaust. This was more like 110. It made my 100 decible CR 500 sound like a jr50.
