I have a 2003 DS650. I have a K&N air filter, HMF slip on exhaust, and a Big Gun High Rev CDI Box. Im still runing my stock jets. I dont think thats right but im not sure? What size jets should I be running with the mods on it? Thanks

 

Well, its been so long since Ive run the stock carb...I have almost forgot..but I would say start at 175. I forget what it comes with stock, LOL!

 

I think stock is a 160. But im not sureee...

 

A 175 mikuni is a good start. It depends on you elevation though

 

165 is the stock size, and yes 175 mikuni is a good place to start.

 

I have the same mods with a ported intake and I am running a 172.5 main, 45 pilot, needle in 4th groove, and mixture screw 3 turns out. This is at sea level.

 

At 900ft. elevation I run a dj 190 main, which flows the same as a 175 mukini. Needle {dj} in the 3rd position, with a k+n, and no lid, ron wood rev box, and stock exaust.
