Default custom paint

alright guys i got my ds all tore down me and my dad are going to do some custom paint on the plastic my dad does custom paint and airbrushing and he going to paint my plastic for me. i just need some ideas so if you got a ds with a cool paint job or you know some one that does post back. i seen crazypainter there really cool lets see some more

Well, I have a custom DS...take a look at my pic page. But just remember there is ONLY ONE SPIDERBIKE. LOL! Mine was airbrushed aswell.

you guys have some really nice looking quads i reaally appreciate the pics. we got a 300ft drag coming up in janesville next month and i want mine painted by then. i know one thing those factory stickers are a pain in the *** to get off any ideas

DS decals stick very hard !! I use a DA and 80 grit since I'm painting anyway. Heat makes them even harder to remove. Good luck[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] John.

you mean 180 i think 80 grit will scratch it up pretty bad

I meant 80 grit. I don't care about the scratches, it all gets bead blasted and primed anyway. No it doesn't really help the paint stick better. paint sticks to plastic through chemical rather than mechanical adhesion.
