**What size chain**

Default **What size chain**

the stock chain size is 520x98 would the chain size change if i run a 12/36 gearing?? and what do u think about x ring chains?? are they worth the extra money?? thanx guys
the stock sprockets are 13/38

You should be able to just tighten the chain and it should fit.

when i changed my sprockets i ran the stock chain for a while and it did just fine...you should have no problem..the X-ring chains just help with keeping dirt out and stuff gettin in...also it keeps lubricaton in which is a good thing...i just went with the racing chain...holding up great and good tensile strength...but i guess it cant hurt giving the X-ring chain a try...

if your going to be changing the chain out, get a non o-ring chain, youll free up some ponies to the real wheels , just make sure you lube it every time you get on.
