ok i just got my banshee motor back i had it ported polished case ported, head work, advanced time 4degrees reworked crank, and piston ports opened up. but i still have my stock carbs what size main jet change would you guys think i should go to? i have 290s in with my old mods pipes,delta valves 2into one air filter reed spacers .im also looking for some used 34 keihins if someone has some for a good price.

Who did the motor work? the guys at D&M Racing did a dyno on a ported banshee with 6 diffrent set of carbs, and found that the air stryker carbs made 5 more hp over the stander keihin carb.

Go with 33pwk's, they do in fact make 5hp more than the pj's. I have seen first hand on the dyno the 35 pj's make 5 less than the 35pwk's. The stocks can be very effective too though. I like the stockers smooth bored with all the tors crap removed. The single carb is not the ticket unless you want a woods racer, but if that were the case you probably wouldnt have done any porting.
