Today we had the obstacle course race , the 500 foot grass drags and the mobility course. which was basically like a nascar raod coarse. In my class there were only me and couple scrambler 500's my time was 1 minute one second the best 500 Scrambler was 55 seconds, I was right in the pack for all the classes, 54 was the fastest and it was an xpress 400 my friends atv. He raced in the drag race it was 500 feet on grass, his first heat was him . a piped banshee and a 400EX all piped up too, the 400 Xpress is stone stock 3000 miles stock rubber , he beat the 4000Ex and was only 1.5 lenghts behind the Banshee at 500 feet! so funny all shinny race bikes and Bud's 1996 xpres all muddy just like him we went for a ride before the event, it was to much. He raced again it was a ds 650 and a banshee and him, he lost but was 2 lengths behind. If he piped and clutched his 400 he would have beat them. they had no class for me. well no one signed up anyway. he was the only Polaris that raced in the drag. Most of the Polaris guys were having more fun on the obstacle course.

 

Hey, XE, where were these races, and will there be any more before winter? I'd like to see that sometime. All I get to see are sleds racin' an oval and quad races at monster truck shows. I'd like to try that obstacle course out. (I'll stay away from the drags with my stock 00 Tblazer.) THANKS!!!!

 

Caribou Maine. it was ther first one this year for the sled drags. Allot of fun. And there were quite a few AC sleds there. They did well. Yeah there were only the big sport quads . i was hoping they would have the utility quads race but no one signed up! There were a couple Grizzlies there i tried to get them to race. wow some of those guys takes there sled gras racing VERY seriously.
