Will a 25x10x12 tire fit on a stock Xplorer 400 rim. The OEM tire size is 25x8x12.

I'm thinking that a little wider up front, without the height will give me a little wider footprint. If I have to go to a wider rim I think I will skip the idea as rims cost $100each.

Loyal,
I cant speak on behalf of a 10 wide tire, but I have 26x9x12 Mudrunners on the front of my 00 Xplorer. The rims are stock.I put one little washer on the wheel lugs to act as a spacer before installing the tires because the tires were very close to hitting the tie-rod ends.It worked out great. In 750 miles,no problems or rubbing yet,
Bill
