Please Help,

I just replaces my bent OEM upper a-arm with another factory used a-arm that i bought off EBAY. The seller told me he barely had used the a-arm and in fact it does seem to be in pretty good shape. After installing it i notices that there is some play at the ball joint where it connectes to the spindle. The other side doesnt do that. Is there some special way to connect the ball joint to the spindle before puting on the castle nut and pin. Thanks for the help.

if their is side to side play i woudnt see it being a problem. But if you can pull on it and feel play like its coming out of the socket, i would be weary. Mine did this, and i bought a set of new +2, and on my last trip before i got the new a-arms shipped. i was at the dunes and the lower ball joint completly came out and dug in the sand and sent little ol' me flying.
