im 13 and my brother has a lakota. he thinks it is all that. i want to get a wheeler that can show him up. the thing is that im not sure wat to get. i cant afford anything over 5000 but im thinkin about watin till some new whellers come out wen i come 16 so i can get a fast one. right now im thinkin z-400 but i heard bad things. i really want a 450r but they might be to much for me. wat do u think i should get???

 

nuthing wrong with a z. absolute great quads. talk ur dealer down to 5000. or beg ur parents for a small loan and pay them back.

 

but doesnt the z-4oo have frame problems??

 

it did early 03, they fixed it late o3 and 04. besides, you gonna be jumping it 30ft? dont think so. its a absolute excelent all around use quad. perfect for you if u can handle it

 

rumors have it that suzuki fxed all dat on later modles and its only ur a phyco rider like.......oh for example.....ME

also i suggest the raptor....get a used one 03 or later (bad tranny/cluch in earlier modles)

raptors will blow the z away but might not feel as confy on the trails...but hell the rapy feels like a lexus compared to my yfz
(but then i shift to 3rd and the rapy is gone)

AND DO U REALLY THINK SUZUKI IS GONNA KEEP LETING HONDA AND YAMAHA PI$$ ON EM ON THE TRACK NONONO

raptor for and inexperenced rider. thats smart, i dunno about that. with pipe and intake z is just as good as a raptor. but u CANT EVER beat the tourqe or a 660

 

i rode a raptor once and got blown away at its power. 660 is to much for me.i probably will get a z-400. how much do they go for??

z will beat it. it goes about 70. maybe a little under
