what is the point of the stiffer springs in the factory pro jet kits for the raptor? my buddy just got it and the dealer told him that the springs for the slide were a must do. does anyone have this and was there a difference that was noticable? i didnt buy the kit but i was thinking about using his old ones and doubling them up in mine.

 

possibly so the slide doesn't stick open with a lighter spring? I've never heard of such a thing, but i'm not a carb guru. Then again, there is only vacuum, no pressure, because there is no fuel pump, so i can't picture it sticking open because of new jets. Am i wrong?
