Powdercoating guns for your home anyone used one???
#1
I am in the process of powdercoating a couple things and I was wondering if it worth it to buy one of those do-it-yourself powdercoaters from eastwood or someplace. Anyway I don't need a perfect job but I think if I had one that I would end up useing it alot. And our local shop makes me pay $50 even if the job is small and I beed blast it. Has Anyone tried one of these kits if so do they work and what is the best gun to buy and can a guy buy a better gun used for about the same price as a crapy one new???

I have not used one but a guy at work bought one and used it for powder coating parts for the motorcycle he was building. He said it was easy to use and did a good job. I was having some atv racks powder coated and shopped around for prices. I got prices from twenty bucks each no mater how many I had done to ten bucks for less than ten and eight bucks each for ten or more. All pricing included sand blasting. It pays to shop around. Not to sure how many powder coating shops there are in Begrade. Isn't that where Montana Canvas is?
