Default What is your best 1/8th mile time?

I have a fully modded banshee and took it for the first time friday and ran a 9.202 sec. e.t. w/ a slipping clutch. i think when i get the new clutch and basket i'll hit 8.8-8.9. hopefully. to tell you the truth, i thought i'd run a low 8. but hey at least i was beating the mustangs out there. there were only three out there but they were all slower than me w/ mid 9 sec. passes.

I ran 8.0s @100 mph on street tires, but that was in my car.

Haven't tried the 1/8th with an off roader yet, but I remember an old Dirt Wheels article where they ran 12.6s @100 mph 1/4 mile using a modded Banshee with NOS almost 20 years ago. That wasn't too far behind many hot street bikes of that time. It would have had a very quick 1/8th mile, but I don't remember if they reported it.

My gasser 352cc banshee last year went 7.60 @ 85mph in the 1/8th. That was a +4 swinger and no wheelie bar. I had a tremendous takeoff and did a 1.58 60ft time.
