I was up there last week. The place is great, but I avoided Dunefest completely. Looking for a trail, I accidentally drove through a campground at night, and there were something like 20 drunks standing in the road like zombies from "Night Of The Living Dead". They didn't even have sense enough to move. I had to bump a couple of them with my bumper to get the idiots to get out of the way.

No thanks, I can find plenty of drunk idiots at Glamis without driving 1,000 miles.

It was very fun but it just doesn't compare to St. Anthony Dunes. They are the best.

Yeah, used to live there so I avoid Sand Fest weekend like the plague. But any other weekend makes for some awesome riding.

oh btw....nice pics, but why was your quad on the beach? In Windy Bay that's a big no-no.

Since you avoided the question....I'll just make a general statement to everyone. If you aren't supposed to be on the beach with your ATV, don't go there and ruin a beautiful place for everyone else. One of my pet peeves is people riding on the beach. There are plenty of other places to ride.

Alright buddy, you are allowed to ride on the beach in the Southern area and the Northern area. Only in the Winchester Bay Central area (where the picture was not takin) can you not ride on the beach. I don't appriciate you hijacking my thread for your dogooder BS.

That's why I asked where the picture was taken before I said something. You didn't tell me so I just made a general statement. Personally I don't think we should be allowed to ride on the beaches at all...but whatever. Go ahead and be pissed, but I wasn't trying to "hijack your thread for my dogooder BS."
