Raptor rear shock rebuild?
#1
Well, the old girl has had 3 seasons of abuse on her and the shocks are junk. I know the fronts are through-away units and I 'll go aftermarket for them. Can I get the rear shock rebuilt? How much will it run and who does it? Thank you.

Well, you could try several places. There are many local shops here in Ohio that will do a shock rebuild for around $200, including a new spring with a stiffer rate and improved damping/valving. You'd have to find someone out there to do it, or you could call one of the big name suspension shops like Works, Elka, Custom Axis, and they will rebuild a stock shock for you, but odds are it wont' be cheap. I have a raptor rear shock that I only ran for a season before I upgraded, it's still like new and feels great. Let me know if you are interested, I just want to get rid of it and get it out of my garage.
