does the wheel wobble from side to side or up and down? if its up and down then the wheel bearings are bad and if it wobbles side to side then he ball joints might be bad. just my $.02

Sometimes the ball joint stud becomes loose in the A-arm. Pull the cotter pin and tighten the nut. If the nut was tight then the ball joint will need to be replaced. The ball joint job is easy if you use the ball joint replacement tool.

Don't know how many miles you have on your Sportsman but if you greased the ball joints at all they should not be loose this soon. Like the others posted check the retaining nut, bearings and even the tie rod ends......

my 700efi has 775 miles on it. Both nuts that connect to the balljoints were lose. Is there any special amout of torque that I should apply to them. I tightened them and all the play went away... Thanks again guys.
