Default Jettting the carb on a Bomb. DS-90

My son has a 2004 DS-90 4 stroke which I purchased new from a dealer 2 months ago. We live in Phoenix but have a place in Pine, AZ. It runs great in the Valley but totally bogs down when at the higher elevation of Pine. Any suggestions on if I should jet the carb or try taking the cover to the air filter off. The carb is a Mikuni VM-16 JET-100. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

They say that it was so hot in the city today, grown men were walking up to cops on street corners begging them to shoot.

What irritates me is!
Those 6-packs work pretty good.

I'd try pulling the snorkle out up there and see if it makes a difference.
